a. Meat Products
We sell meat products that comply with Wisconsin’s food safety and labeling laws. All products are processed and handled in compliance with state and federal regulations.
b. Product Availability
Product availability may vary. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products without notice.
c. Product Descriptions
We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions. However, we do not guarantee that descriptions, images, or other content are error-free, complete, or up-to-date.
3. Pricing and Payment
a. Pricing
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Taxes will be calculated as required by Wisconsin state law.
b. Payment Methods
We accept payment via Stripe. Payments are processed securely by third-party providers.
4. Order Policies
a. Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that violate these Terms or are flagged for fraud.
b. Shipping
We ship products within Wisconsin and other U.S. states as permitted. Shipping costs and delivery times vary.
- Frozen/Perishable Products: Meat is shipped with appropriate packaging to maintain temperature. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
c. Returns and Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products:
- All sales are final.
- Refunds or replacements may be issued for orders that arrive damaged or spoiled due to our error. Please contact us at kauffman@libertyridgefarmwi.com within 24 hours of delivery with photos and a detailed explanation.
5. User Accounts
a. Account Creation
You may create an account to streamline the shopping process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
b. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the website for illegal purposes or violate Wisconsin laws.
- Resell our products without authorization.
- Interfere with the website’s functionality or security.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our liability for direct damages is limited to the cost of the product(s) purchased.
8. Compliance with Wisconsin Laws
Our farm store complies with Wisconsin state laws regarding food safety, labeling, taxation, and e-commerce.
- Food Safety: Meat products which are so required by Wisconsin state law, are processed at licensed facilities under Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) oversight. Our chicken is processed here on the farm in accordance to Wisconsin state law, allowing for the processing of up 1,000 birds per year on farm.
- Sales Tax: We collect and remit sales tax as required by Wisconsin law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is our property or licensed to us. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Dispute Resolution
a. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
b. Mediation and Arbitration
Any disputes arising under these Terms will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Vernon County.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
